Mortgage of shares

1. Thomas Campbell Eyton of The Vineyard, esq

2. Robert Aglionby Slaney of Walford Manor esq

3. Mary Slaney of Hatton Hall spinster.

Consideration: £1400 paid by R.A. Slaney and £600 by Mary Slaney. As draft. The shares mortgaged are in the Wellington Gas Company and Wellington Water Works Company, not a Railway Witnesses: William Anslow, farmer, Eyton near Wellington; Endorsed: Memorandum of August 1856 that the £4141 16 3% Reduced Bank Annuities have been sold out and produced £3950 12. 8d and that sum with a further £3000 advanced by William Henry Slaney (in all £6950 12. 8.) has been lent on mortgage and is now charged upon the settled estate of Thomas C. Eyton in order to pay off the charge due from such estates under a decree of the Court of Chancery in the suit of Gardner v. Eyton and that such sum has been lent in the name of Captain W. Kenyon as a trustee for the parties esply entitled to the same, the £3950 12. 8. being still liable and chargeable with payment of the £1400 and £600.
