Ninian Burrell of Penhurst, gent, and his son (by his first wife Elizabeth [Penhurst]) Thomas Burrell, the heir of his mother, to Anthony Pelham of Bivelham in Mayfield, esq
messuage, land and wood in Penhurst and Brightling called The Levettes, occupied by John Weston and Michael Hawkyns, which NB holds for life with reversion to TB reserved: woods and underwoods, with power to fell, cut, coal and carry away, and to dig iron mine during the next three years mortgage payable at AP's mansion house of Buxsteep [in Warbleton] on 1 May 1559; on the failure of NB and TB to repay the mortgage, AP to have an option to purchase by the payment of a further £63 and a rent of 9s 0d a year
