Description

Annual rent charge of £34-15-1½ issuing out of the Stoke parsonage estate [incl. the Ilchester and Marston Magna lands], conveyed to Thos. Hawkesworth in 1846

Earliest deed is settlement previous to marriage of Wm. Collier of London and Ann Carpenter of Whitechapel (co.Middx.), which refers also to the Chequer in Romford (co.Essex) and properties in Lemmon St., Whitechapel, including Goodmans Fields Coffee House and a new built brick messuage with the bathing room and sweating room called the Princes Bagino [sic]

Correspondence concerning earlier offers of sale of the rent change, from 1794 (10 docts.), and relating to the 1846 purchase itself. Certificate of redemption of land tax, 1799

Affidavits and associated genealogical papers relating to the Stratton family of Middlesex, Herts, etc., the owners to 1846
