Description

Surveys of parish made for tithe purposes. Two surveys are identical and have sections for (1) estates held under the Prince of Wales, (2) cottages, (3) commons, etc., and (4) freeholders; there are columns giving reference to map*, names of tenants, tenements or former tenants and fields, state of cultivation and crop and one adds value per acre and amount per annum. The third survey has single line entries for same properties in the same order, giving the yearly value of the titheable part of each estate (identical with 'amount per annum' of the previous survey), crops in 1814 and yearly value of the tithe and value of the fee of the same at 40 years' purchase. At front, schedule of value of crops for tithe purposes.
