Officers of Ordnance to Dartmouth questioning Colonel King's qualifications to inspect the fortifications at Gibraltar. They will send Lord Portmore a copy of Colonel Bennett's instructions. Major General Elliot has reported a shortage of guns, mortars and gunners at Gibraltar. They suggest an estimate of the cost of remedying this. Dated at Office of Ordnance.
