Commissioner Philip Vanbrugh, Plymouth. Receipt of letter and warrants with four blank warrants for the Surgeons' Mates of the Assistance and St. Albans, in case those appointed by you are not arrived. The Assistance and St. Albans have each their Surgeon's Mates. We are to receive Norway goods from John Major and Ordinary twine from Messrs. Bull and Company. Yesterday, the Sphinx was paid and today, the Bristol came into harbour and this evening, the Assistance got into the Sound but the St. Albans could not get out of the harbour
