Description

Captain J. H. Porter, the Flamborough, Gravesend. Upon examining the Survey book delivered by the Clerk of the Cheque at Woolwich, there is a Spritsail Topsail yard but no rigging, likewise there is rigging for a mizzentop gallant mast, a yard and sail and rigging for them but neither cap, crosstrees or top gallant mast. Neither dimensions, quantity or quality are mentioned in the survey book which we use for reference and will cause difficulties in passing his accounts. Asks for directions.
