[The petition is badly damaged and is missing much of the left-hand side of the petition including the name of the petitioner and the addressee]. [Lucy] requests that the treasurer be commanded to pay and content him for goods delivered to the king when he was prince, for which he has not been paid and because of which he is greatly indebted to his final ruin.
Nature of endorsement
[On face].He should wait according to the endorsement, 20th day July anno 9.[On dorse].Walter Lucy of London, haberdasher, requests that the treasurer may pay him 108s. 1d. ob. due to him by the king while he was prince after the purport of certain debentures remaining toward the said Walter thereof.
