Nature of request
Nevill shows that he was peaceably seised of a mine 'upon the hill of Cleker' until Baygge and Roger entered the same by force and wrongfully put out the petitioner and his servant and occupied the same, and have entered another mine called 'the myne of the levyn' of which the petitioner, Killygrewe and other coparceners were also peaceably seised to their great hurt and hinderance. Nevill requests that the prince's steward be commanded to establish a court at the mine, and to take due proof of the mine according to right and conscience, and to place the tin of the mine 'of the Cleker' under arrest until it is determined whether the supplicant of Baygge and Roger have most right to it.
