William Lysle requests writs of liberate for the arrears due to him for £40 yearly out of the Exchequer, granted to him for life by Richard II and confirmed by the King, for £30 yearly out of the fee farm of Oxford, granted to him and his wife Amice for life by Richard II and confirmed by the King, and for two tuns of wine yearly out of the port of London, granted to him for life by the King.
Nature of endorsement
[On face] Memorandum that the King delivered this petition to the chancellor and thereon two writs of liberate were made, one to the treasurer and chamberlains to pay the said William his arrears of the said £40 on the morrow of Easter, and one to the bailiffs of Oxford to pay him his arrears of the said £30 on the same day.
