- The commons request, in order to prevent undue delays to writs, that it be ordained by statute that in all writs in which there is vouching, that if the defendant vouches to warranty a certain person and the claimant will swear by peers or otherwise, that neither the vouchee nor any of his ancestors should have anything in the claimed land, and that the voucher should continue to take the profits of the said lands, and the averment should be received between them if the voucher will wait for it, and if not, then the voucher should put forward another response.
