Nature of request
Vikere and the other executors of the will of Berkeley request remedy against Hampton, Sturmy and others who have seised Berkeley's goods to the King's use, and also against Broughton who caused other of Berkeley's goods to be sold to the King's use, so that the Berkeley's will cannot be duly executed.
Nature of endorsement
The treasurer and barons of the Exchequer were ordered by writ of Chancery to examine Broughton's accounts and, if he had levied money from Berkeley's goods to the King's use as the petition claims, allowance should be made in Berkeley's debts, and if he did not pay the money to the King, Broughton should be made to account for the same and further justice should be done.
