Nature of request
Arnold Loup, Lord of Estibeaux, states that three of his villeins of Estibeaux, living in the parish of Sainte-Marie-de-Monet, appealed from him to the king's lieutenant in Gascony, and he took them into the king's hand, and since then he has held them, against Arnold Loup's will, so that he cannot have justice and judgment concerning them or concerning his tenements of Pomarez, Lagourgue and Moetbeilh. He asks that these three men and their services might be restored to him.
