Letter from Christopher Hardy, Bedford Office, Bloomsbury, [Middlesex], concerning an arson attack on farm premises in Cople, Bedfordshire, belonging to the Duke of Bedford, and in the occupation of William Purser, a member of the Board of Guardians. The Duke promises a reward of £100 and asks the government to offer a further reward and pardon to any accomplices giving information.
