Sir John Norris to the duke of Tuscany on 30 March 1711 demanding the restitution of Captain Mackdonnell's servant who has been converted to Catholicism and detained in Pisa.The duke of Tuscany to Sir John Norris on 21 April 1711 [N.S.]: in the matter of Captain Mackdonnell's servant he has no power to act in ecclesiastical affairs, but is making representations to the pope. Dated at Florence. Sir John Norris to Dartford on 15 April 1711, enclosing and commenting on the duke of Tuscany's letter above. All the troops have now embarked and he waits only for a favourable wind. Chetwynd is sending some wheat and barley with the convoy. Dated on board Ranelagh at Vado [Ligure]. No. 29
