Nature of request
Singelton requests that his cause is advanced as he delivered his petition before the council that his brother was indicted before Cressingham and his companions, justices in eyre in Lancashire of the death of Plumpton and he was found a clerk and delivered to the ordainers without the king's warrant and delivered to prison where he died. The petitioner's brother had a little land which was taken into the king's hand and the petitioner requested that he could have the land and was answered that he should make the record come before the next parliament before the passage of the king into Flanders, and he has not been able to have an answer because of the war.
