Nature of request
Cotiler requests grace and remedy as he complains of assaults made against him on several occasions by Lincoln and Ralph le Teynturer and others. He has proceeded against them but le Beyvere purchased an inquisition that passed for Lincoln to Cotiler's great damage, and they have continued to beat him to the point of death.
Nature of endorsement
Let this be delivered to the mayor of London and let him make the parties come and do justice.
