Crokedayk requests remedy as her late husband's brother died without heirs of his body holding land in Little Paxton and Wrestlingworth in socage by which the custody of the same pertains to her as nearest kin of John son of John, but the sub-escheators of the counties have seized the same into the king's hand because the heir is within age and held other lands of the king in chief. [Note that copies of charters are sewn to the petition].
