[Petition in six parts:]1) Swynesheved complains that Ho had him attached at Gedney to answer to him before the stewards and marshals of the king at Windsor for various trespasses, where he came and was put on the country and was not found culpable of anything.2) He further complains that Ho had him taken at Windsor and imprisoned in irons until he made a fine of 100s, released a debt of 100s and made him pay a further sum by duress, and obliged him to pay 1 mark annually to Ho and his heirs for Swynesheved's life.3) Ho took 160 of his sheep and drove them away and still detains them wrongly.4) He complains that Mower took by force his goods and chattels to the value of 20 marks, and cut his corn to the value of £10 and carried it away.5) He complains that Ho and Despenser and their men knocked down the walls around his house at Gedney and menaced him until he made a fine in 20 marks which he has paid wrongly.6) He complains that Despenser and his men took a horse of his, value 30s, and a cart and other goods and chattels to the value of £10, and beat and imprisoned his people.He requests that regard is had for these grievances and duresses, and ordain a remedy as he cannot reside in his house for the menaces, or serve the church. He requests writs of oyer and terminer to certain people of the county of Lincoln to enquire of these complaints and grievances.
