[Rear Admiral Sir] John Norris [to Boyle]: he is attempting to stop any corn going out of the Sound without giving offence to the northern crowns until the arrival of the Dutch convoy. His dealings with the governor of Elsinore. He has sent a fourth rate to the mouth of the Sound to stop all ships going out with corn. Shortage of provisions may force him to return home. Activity of the French secretary. [Continuation on July 8]: his fourth rate has detained a Swedish ship with corn. Activities of the British ambassador Pulteney. Shortage of provisions. Dated on board Ranelagh anchored between the castles of Elsineure [Elsinore, Helsingør, Denmark] and Elsenburg [Helsingborg, Sweden]. No. 70
