Endorsement: The reply of John Skevington and John Kyme, Sheriffs: John Tate was not found in the bailiwick; they have extended all his lands and seized them into the King's hands.

Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 22/04/1520 The inquisition made at the Guildhall of London on 08/04/1521 before John Skevington and John Kyme, Sheriffs. On the day of the recognisance John Tate was seised in demesne, in the right of Margaret his wife, of divers messuages, namely: one on the corner of of Crooked Lane in the Parish of St Michael in Crooked Lane in Bridge Ward, now inhabited by a merchant-tailor, and worth £4; another in the same parish in which a draper lives, worth £3; another in the same parish in which a stationer lives, worth 4m.; another in the Parish of St Magnus the Martyr in Bridge Ward, inhabited by a stockfishmonger, worth 50s.; another in the Parish of St Mary at Hill in Billingsgate Ward, in which a fishmonger lives, worth £4; also, a great tenement in the Parish of St Thomas the Apostle in Vintry Ward, in which a carpenter lives, worth £7.
