The petitioners request remedy against Loumer, who has wrongly sued them for unpaid rents, and for which they have been outlawed in the court of Husting and threatened with arrest. Loumer held the lordship of Luddesdown ten years previously, and claimed that they had not paid their rents, but this was not true, and he has since pursued them, wrongly forcing them to pay fines.
