- William Bultel states that because he informed Bartholomew de Burcherssch, justice of the Forest, of the names of malefactors in the forest and in the King's parks in Essex, they, because of their hatred for him, have had him maliciously indicted of various felonies before Henry de Grey and his companions, justices of trailbaston in Essex, so that he has been arrested and imprisoned in Colchester. He asks that the record and process, and he himself, be brought before the King in his Bench to stand to right there, or to ordain another remedy, so that he is not wrongly put to death because of the enmity of these people.
