Moseleye requests that whereas he is owed £384 14s 5d for various grain bought from him for the use of Edward II by Horsley for provisioning Bamburgh castle, that the King by his writ order the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to allow him the amount due on his account.
Nature of endorsement
The Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer should be ordered by writ that, having examined the King's account, if they find that the King is bound to Moseleye in as much as is supposed by the petition, then they should allow that which he owes in that which the King owes to him.
