The petitioner enfeoffed the King in all his castles, manors, lands and tenements in Surrey, Sussex Yorkshire and Wales, and the King then re-enfeoffed Warenne in the same in Surrey, Sussex and Wales for life, descending after his death to John, son of Maud and his male heirs, and in default of a male heir to his brother Thomas and his male heirs, and in default of a male heir to the male heirs of the petitioner, and in default of a male heir to the King and his heirs, and also re-enfeoffed Warenne in the same in Yorkshire for life, descending after his death to Maud, and after her death to her son John and his male heirs, and in default of a male heir to his brother Thomas and his male heirs, and in default of a male heir to the male heirs of the petitioner, and in default of a male heir to the King and his heirs.
