Folios 189-190. Memorial of John Robeson, solicitor and Richard Francis, Aldermen of Droitwich, to Lord John Russell. It relates to the appointment of magistrates for the town of Droitwich and states that two men recommended by the Borough Council, Samuel Tombs and Thomas Fowler, are unsuitable because they are both employed by Salt companies. They state that many of the cases heard by Droitwich magistrates relate to assault and drunkenness by Salt company employees. [Folio 191-192 is folder/blank]
