Folios 185-187. Letter from William Brinton of Kidderminster, Worcestershire, requesting Russell's proper attention to the accompanying memorial, in particular the interests of the Liberal candidate Mr Basshaw.
Memorial from magistrates, manufacturers and inhabitants of Kidderminster. Fourteen signatories request that troop of the 5th Dragoon Guards are sent to the vicinity of the town to preserve the peace during the nomination and election of candidates for the Borough of Kidderminster on the 24 and 25 July 1837. The occupations of the signatories are included.
