Malta. Map showing roads, rivers, the nature of the terrain, and place names. Reference note on place-name elements. Scale: 2 inches to 1 mile. Compass star; south-west at the top. Surveyed and drawn by Lieutenant [James] W Worsley, Royal Engineers, Valletta, 1824; [engraved at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel James, Royal Engineers, 1856], with the outline by C Callaghan, writing by J E Ainslie and hills by W Archibald. Unexplained pencilled additions appear off the northern and western coasts.
