Description

Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Kerch. 'Kertch. Plan shewing the town, with the line of intrenchments and batteries erected for its defence, during the months of Decr. Jany and Feby 1855-6 under the direction of Major Stokes, Chief Engineer Turkish Contingent': two photographic copies of a map. Reference table to armaments etc. Scale: 1 inch to about 647 yards. Photographed and reduced from a map drawn by E J Standen, Turkish Contingent Engineers, March 1856.
