Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Sebastopol (Sevastopol'). (28) 'Sketch from the Second Parallel of the Right Attack, on the Crown Battery Ridge: shewing the relative position of the Malakoff and Redan on either side of the Light Division, or Middle Ravine, & the works connecting them across it': MS view, also showing buildings, ships and the shoreline. Reference notes on fortifications and the distances between them. Drawn by Brevet Major M A Biddulph, Royal Artillery, 19 March 1855. (29) Unfinished version of item (28), lacking all of the text. (30) Lithographed version of (28), lacking the reference notes; produced at the Topographical and Statistical Depot, War Department, 18 June 1856.
