Russian Empire: Finland: Åland Islands (Ahvenanmaa). Six sheets of drawings of fortifications. (32) '... Sketch of ground shewing the position of Fort Bomarsund and the adjacent Towers, together with the Casemated Buildings in course of Erection. This Sketch also shows the Encampment of the Allied Troops as well as the site of the French and English Batteries and the Track of the English Heavy Guns': site map. (33) Plan and sections of Fort Bomarsund prior to its destruction by British and French troops. (34) Two floor plans, exterior elevation and section of Fort Nottick prior to its destruction by British troops. (35) Plans of a casemated [i.e. fortified] tower and another building. (36) Plans of casemated foundations. (37) Plan, elevation and sections of part of Fort Nottick. Reference table to item (32). Scale: (32) 1 inch to 200 yards [1:7,200]; (33) 1 inch to 40 feet [1:480] (plan); 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240] (sections); (34-35) 1 inch to 20 feet; (36) 1 inch to 40 feet; (37) 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120] and 1 inch to 4 feet [1:48].
