'Plan of the ground and position of the Allied Armies at the Battle of the Tchernaya ...': two copies of a map also showing the nature of the terrain, rivers and roads. Item (13) on tracing cloth; item (14) on tracing paper. Scale: 4 inches to 1 mile. Compass indicator. Based on a survey by Colonel F W Hamilton, Grenadier Guards, 16 August 1855. Certified as true copies by Lieutenant Colonel T B Jervis, Director of the Topographical and Statistical Depot, War Department: (13) 20 January 1856; (14) 31 December 1855.
