China: Guangdong province: Shantou. 'Map of the Districts near the Port of Swatow shewing the progress of the Rebels 3rd November 1864. Copied from a map in the Foreign Office': map of the lower reaches of the Han River, territory as far north as Tingzhou (or Changting, in Fujian province) and as far east as Heping; showing named towns, distances, waterways and the route taken by rebel forces. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. Compass indicator. Signed by William M Cooper. Stamped by the Topographical Department of the War Office, 12 January 1865.
