North America. Map of the southern shore of Lake Erie (now in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York states, United States of America) between the mouth of the Maumee River and Fort Erie (now in Ontario, Canada), showing hills, place names and soundings. Reference table of remarks on navigation and the nature of the terrain [partly trimmed away and perished]; further reference notes on the country. Scale: [?1 inch to 2 miles]. Compass indicators; south-east at the top. [Copied from a map surveyed (under the orders of Lord Dorchester) by Henry Ford and Patrick McNiff and reduced by William Hall]. The sheet has been trimmed considerably and is perished at some of the edges; consequently, it lacks the title and insets found on other copies of the map.
