John Pygot requests the repeal and annulment of letters patent issued to Noion, prebendary of South Cave in the cathedral church of St Peter, York (York Minster), granting Noion various tenths and other sums relating to the chapel of Faxfleet and the appurtenant land of Oxmardike. He states that the king had granted him the keeping of the chapel of Faxfleet and all appurtenances, and that he held these for many years, just as his predecessors had done, until ousted by Noion by these letters, procured falsely from the chancery.
