De la Pole requests that whereas the King granted his father the reversion of the manor of Costessey with other lands and rents after the death of Isabel, Countess of Suffolk to have to him and his heirs forever in exchange for yearly rents of 400 marks and £50, which rents his father gave to him and his heirs to be taken yearly from the ancient custom in the port of Hull, which lands and rents in his father's possession by the said exchange the King seized into his hand by judgment returned against his father at the parliament held at Westminster in the tenth [sic, for eleventh] year of the King's reign which was annulled in your last parliament, that he can have execution by writs of scire facias to the tenants of £20 yearly rent from Orford castle, 40 marks for the fee farm of the manor of Stradbroke and of the manors of Benhall and Faxfleet.
