[Petition in 2 parts:]1) Daudelegh requests a grant of a licence to the Columbiers to enfeoff Ailmers and Lovet with their manors of Nether Stowey, Puriton, Downend so that they can re-enfeoff the Columbiers with them to hold to them and their male heirs.2) He further requests that he can enfeoff Brocton and Egemondon with his manors of Blagdon and Torrington and that they are able to re-enfeoff Audley and his wife, and that they can enfeoff the Columbiers to hold the same for their lives.

The petition dates to 1337 as the privy seal warrant with which it was formerly enclosed dates to 11 January 1337 [10 Edw. III] (C 81/233/9728). The licences were given for the grants on the same day (CPR 1334-8, p.347).
