Plan: 'Sketch of part of the Welland Canal at Allanburgh on an enlarged scale shewing the position of lock N o. 37 the Guard Gate & c': showing what was damaged in a bomb attack on 9 September 1841. Scales: 1 inch to 1 mile [1:63,360]; and 1 inch to 44 yards [1:1,584]. Copied by R Pilkington, from an original drawn to accompany letter of 27 September 1841 from Captain Vincent Briscoe, Royal Engineers, to Lieutenant Colonel Ward.
