'Upper Egypt and the Sudan': set of 29 unrevised proof sheets covering the following areas: Jakdul; Abu Hamed; Abaluk; Fifth Cataract and Berber; Merowe; Metemma; Atbara; Nasser; Fashoda; Ghrab El-Aish; Roseires; Ahmed Aga; Beni Shangul; Karkoj; Jebel Ain; Sennâr; Abba Island; Khartum; Gedaref; Jebel Arashkol; Murrat; Wadi Halfa; Salmia; Wadi Keheli; Jebel Kuror; Debba; Akasha; Dongola; and Abu Sari. Reference tables to rail, tracks, telegraphs and survey stations; and topographical notes. Intelligence Division War Office 1281: compiled January-August 1898; zincographed (some heliozincographed and photozincographed) at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1898.
