Clavering to Halifax, partly in cipher: a messenger from the army has told the landgrave of Hesse that the two French marshals have agreed to a suspension of hostilities. He assumes the landgrave will return to Cassel once the armies have separated. He encloses a bulletin from Berlin on Prince Henry's victory at Freyberg [SP 87/45/37]. Dated at Rinteln. ff. 67, 68
