Nature of request
John de la More, parson of the church of North Lynn, states that he was expelled from his church by Ralph de Fyncham, William de Elmede, chaplain, Roger Arfrey of Shouldham, Simon de Welle and other lay people, and that they are still withholding it from him by force. He sued in court Christian to have it restored to him, but his adversaries procured the King's presentation to John de Fyncham, and so his case was blocked by a prohibition. He sued a consultation in the King's court in order to proceed, despite this prohibition, but now another prohibition has been brought. He asks the King to repeal this presentation, so that he can pursue his restitution in court Christian.
