John de Derby, clerk, complains that certain people came to Bedford with force and arms and attacked Henry de Alcon, his chaplain, warden of his chapel on Bedford bridge, beat and badly wounded him, and took and carried off his vestments and other accoutrements of the chapel. He requests a writ of oyer et terminer to John de Cauntebrug, John de Hegham, Robert Houel, Peter de Croce, Peter de Bradefeld and Simon Croyser.
