Nature of request
John de Mountgomery states that the King granted him an annuity of £26, to be received from the hundreds of Taverham, Blofield, and Humbleyard in Norfolk, but that the letters under the privy seal sent to the Chancellor on this omitted the name of a fourth hundred, Walsham, from which the money was also to be levied: so that he cannot have his grant.
