Nature of request
Letter to Edward II from the Mayor and community of London, stating that their fellow citizen, Henry Scof, lately had the King's letters to the Count of Flanders, asking him to make restitution for Henry's ship and goods, stolen from him by Flemish malefactors at the port of Zwijn; but that the Count has refused to do anything. They ask the King to provide Henry with a suitable remedy.
