[Petition in 4 parts:]1) Gaillard was granted that he be paid from the issues of the lands of the sheriff of Fronsac, but cannot have satisfaction, and requests payment from the escheats of the duchy.2) Gaillard requests the delivery of the castle of Cazaubon until the king is better able to satisfy him for his damages and losses.3) Gaillard requests that the king have regard for his wages and for the amends of his losses and do right to him.4) Gaillard requests that the earl of Kent be commanded to make restitution to him and Moncaup for the losses that they have incurred in the king's service, as the earl has made to others.

[On face:]1) Let it be commanded to the earl of Kent that the gift be held to . . .2) Let the keeping of the castle be given to him at the king's will just as the council ordained.3) Let £100 sterling be delivered.4) Let the earl of Kent be commanded to inform himself of their losses and make restitution as he has with others.
