- This document forms the response to the petition at SC 8/222/11073. Firstly, it gives details clarifying the position regarding appeals against judgments made in the town according the local customs and laws, and also those cases involving the king. Secondly, it records that regarding the second request, there should be an enquiry whether this would be to the damage of the king or anyone else, and if it is not then they should be granted the place at 6s 8d per year. And let these matters be added to their charters.
