Nature of request
The Bishop of London states that the king granted him the marriage of John, cousin and heir of William, late Lord Latimer, and also granted an annuity of £100 to him and Hamden for the sustenance of John. He has since granted the marriage to Lady Clifford, Crakenthorp and others, and therefore requests that the king grant to them and Robert, parson of Kirkby Thore, 100 marks from the hands of Braybrok and Warrewyk, farmers of the Latimer lands in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, for this sustenance, cancelling his original grant.
