- Nichole requests the king's letters to make attachments along the coast of the people of Holland, Zeeland, nobles and commoners according to the law merchant and maritime. Nichole's ship was robbed by Haynessone and his companions who killed two of his valets, and despite several requests for redress to the count of Holland and Zeeland, and after his death, the count of Hainault, nothing has been done.
- Nature of endorsement
- Because it is accounted by letters patent to the community of Great Yarmouth that the counts have been several times requested to do justice to the petitioner, and the counts have done nothing then let it be ordered by a writ in Chancery to distrain goods and chattels of noble and common men of Holland and Zeeland until the sum contained in the letters testimonial according to the law and customs used by merchants.
