Proctors and messengers of the barons and other nobles and of the commonalties of the cities and towns of Gascony, Agenais and Saintonge.

Nature of request
The petitioners request that the council of England in the matter of the conspiracy of the abbot and convent of St Eutrope and the proctor of the king of France, that all the temporalities of the order of Cluny of England be taken into the king's hand to distrain the abbot of Cluny to make the prior and convent show all their charters and confirmations of other lords of Gascony and of Emperors, as the council in England has not been fully informed by the council in Gascony, and the king of Frances intrusion is to the great damage and disinheritance of the king.
