- Nature of request
- Copy of a writ of Edward III commanding Wake to examine the matter of the St Remy inheritance and to do justice. Eastfield and other heirs recovered the inheritance which had come into the hand of Edward I by the forfeiture of St Remy, but which the late king restored to St Remy for his service, the lands subsequently being taken into the king's hand after St Remy's death. However, on the restoration of the tenements the Eastfields and others have complained that not all of the lands were restored to them.
